I am doing the CIS degree in Internet as well as the CS degree in Management Information Systems. I would ultimately like to be a web designer or database administrator. I'm working this semester on building my web design skills and would like to put them to use building a site for a company I am creating. In my free time I like to do yoga and go running. I have a wonderful boyfriend, Eric, and a new puppy, Rocky, that keep me entertained.

 

I have taken classes in web management, building web pages, Access 07, Outlook 07, and web programming 1. I am familiar with HTML and CSS. I also work a little with Photoshop, but that is a class I would like to take to learn more about. I am computer literate and learn a lot from boyfriend who is a Network Technician. I am also reading the COMPTIA A+ book to learn more specific information on how computers work and to get certified.

I am taking this class as a requirement for the CIS degree. In addition, I would like to learn how to use this popular software program to create web sites more efficiently. So far I have been doing hard coding for the sites, which is the best way to learn, but I know this software is used in the work environment and will be beneficial to know.
